Meeting Space

When we started Green Foundations, we realized that the idea of sustainable building wasn’t necessarily intuitive to a lot of folks. There is a lot of talk about “green” and “sustainable” but what does it all mean? How do you start? Well, we thought of that aspect, too. One of the main objectives of our business is to educate homeowners, builders, and other building-centered professionals about the ideas that make up the green building movement. We plan to offer a series of classes that will benefit anyone interested in living and working in a better place. Earth-pigment clay plaster classes will be scheduled for March. There will be classes in water safety, rammed earth building, indoor air quality, and the catch-all Green 101.

We have set aside a classroom space to provide onsite training in use of the products we sell, but also to create a forum for community education regarding issues surrounding the idea of sustainability. For example, numerous planners for the Idaho Green Expo use our space for planning meetings.
